Amma sent us some payasam today. We wondered whose birthday it was. Someone's birthday by the Malayalam calendar, that much we were sure of. But whose? Then we realised it was our anniversary. 15th, no less. We smiled sheepishly and wished each other. We laughed a bit at ourselves.
